Our Mission
The 180 Society is a New Jersey based addiction and recovery support group, rooted in community, compassion, holistic healing, and integrated plant-based practices.
Our goal is to establish a trusted network of safe, stigma-free, cannabis friendly meeting rooms across New Jersey — spaces that provide connection, support, and a sense of belonging for those working to heal, grow, and turn their lives around.
Whether you are struggling with addiction, sober-curious, having trouble relating to traditional support groups, seeking a plant-friendly alternative, or simply exploring new ways to live with clarity and balance, you are welcome here exactly as you are.
Life can take us down difficult roads at times. Trauma, isolation, life changes, stress, and substance abuse can leave us feeling stuck, afraid, and alone. But the moment you choose to shift direction—even slightly — a new path becomes possible.
At The 180 Society, we meet you in that moment with understanding ... not judgment, and with community ... not isolation. Together, we support one another in turning away from what no longer serves us, and moving toward a life grounded in clarity, connection, and purpose.
At our core, we believe that connection—to self, to others, and to something greater than our current circumstances—is a powerful catalyst for change. For some, that connection may be spiritual or rooted in faith. For others, it may come through community, science, nature, personal reflection, or lived experience. We do not define that for you. The 180 Society is inclusive of all belief systems, and no specific spiritual framework is required to participate. What matters is openness, honesty, and a willingness to grow and change.
With over eight billion people roaming on the planet, we firmly believe that no two paths are the same; healing must honor the unique journey of every individual.
